Health is wellness of the body, the mind, and the soul; their alignment with one another is the art of living well.

Wisdom is understanding of the self, others, and the nature of things; it is essential to  living as if everything is a miracle.
                     Sleep Posture

The body posture affects the overall human health in different ways: the correct way of breathing; the circulation of blood and energy flow; and the health of the spine. That is to say, the way you stand, sit, and walk may positively or negatively affect your health and well-being.

Likewise, the sleep posture also plays a pivotal role in human health. You may have accustomed to a certain sleep posture. You have two options: one, to correct your sleep posture; the other, to make some adjustment to your accustomed sleep posture.

Stomach sleeper

If your back does hurt when you try to sleep, try to ease the pain by placing a pillow beneath your belly. This will take the strain off your back and prevent back pain from developing

Side sleeper

If you tend to sleep on your side, draw your legs up toward your chest and place a pillow between your legs. This simple, yet effective method ought to reduce the strain.

Back sleeper

If you sleep on your back, place a small pillow or a rolled up towel under your knees. This will help your lower back maintain its natural curve.

TIPS: If you wake up, feeling aches and pains, you might have an incorrect sleep posture. Make some adjustment to improve it.
